BereavementUK began many years ago as an MSN online bereavement group offered by a small group of likeminded people. It was probably one of the very first on line bereavement support forums in the UK. Alex, recognising the need for qualified bereavement support, offered confidential e-mail support 365 days a year. In those early days the group worked closely with other support forums across the world and in particular the USA. From this humble beginning BereavementUK grew. Alex has since appeared on national and local radio and is the author of Living with Bereavement, the 2nd edition of which has been provided exclusively on this website as a complimentary e-book.
Tania has been working as a bereavement counsellor for over 10 years. With a specialist interest in supporting people through loss and transition, Tania believes access to appropriate support can make a positive difference to people’s lives at a difficult time. Tania writes for BereavementUK, offers online support and signposting, and co-writes and delivers the bespoke training courses.
We offer bespoke training courses, written personally by us, specifically for your organisation.
We offer information, guidance and support in association with film making, documentaries, projects, radio interviews, or for those with families involved in media projects who may need professional support.
